UPDATE 07/10/20

WELCOME BACK YEAR 8:

We are eagerly looking forward to welcoming year 8 back to school this Friday. It is pleasing to note that over 85% of our pupils have participated in their on-line lessons (it would be better to be able to note that 100% have participated!). We trust that our pupils have benefited from the learning experiences we have provided for them over the past two weeks, although we know that they will not be as good as the experience of learning in the classrooms with their teachers. We will be sharing a questionnaire in the next few days for our pupils and parents to offer feedback on how to further develop and improve this provision. Please check your text messages and SMHW for details.

RE-OPENING THE CANTEEN:

We are also looking forward to re-opening the canteen at the school this Friday, the 09/10/20. Pupils will be able to purchase hot or cold meals again as they wish.

6th FORM – BRING YOUR POWN DEVICE (BYOD):

We provide digital resources for all our pupils to use for their work or to participate in streaming lessons with Ysgol Gwyr. As you know, we allow pupils to bring their own digital devices with them to school and we provide access to the web. This may be useful if your child wishes to do so? Please contact Mrs Nerys Vaughan: VaughanN9@hwbymru.net for further details.
