Congratulations Cameron, Caitlin and Thea!

Congratulations to three Year 13 students, Cameron Jenkins, Caitlin Thomas and Thea Wood.  They have won partnership scholarships with Aberystwyth UniversityCameron is going to study Welsh, Caitlin is going to study History and Thea is going to study Agriculture and Animal Science.


Invitation to Register for Bryn Tawe Chweched

We will be welcoming our year 11 students to school on the afternoon of Tuesday and Wednesday 6-7th of July. This will be an opportunity to meet the Chweched Team, Mr Ben Davies and Miss Catrin Lyall, to register for your chosen subjects and to seek advice if you are unsure of your option choices.


Arrangements: Due to continuing Covid restrictions, we are unable to invite the whole of year 11.

Tuesday 6th July at 13.30 in the Neuadd Fawr: Students from 11T, 11A and 11W.

Wednesday 7th July at 13.30 in the Neuadd Fawr: Students from 11E and 11B.

If you are unable to attend on your allocated date, please contact Mr Carwyn Jenkins to discuss this further.

Provisional CDG

Hopefully you have received the e-mail with the provisional Centre Determined Grades. This is a reminder that due to OFQUAL regulations, the following qualification grades will not be released until results day on August 10th (YEAR 12-13) and August 12th (YEAR 11).

KS4(Year 11): GCSE, BTEC and L1/2 Award

Additional Mathematics, Construction, Electronics, Hospitality, Public Services (Teamwork and Personal Development), Retail Business, Sports, Tourism.

KS5(Year 12-13): AS and A Level, BTEC, L3 Certificate, Cambridge Technical

Business, Electronics, Engineering, ICT, Public Services, Sport, Tourism.
