Huge congratulations to the school’s public speaking team for their recent triumph in the ESU competition regional heat in Bridgend. The team will now go on to the Welsh final to be held in Cardiff Bay next March. The team consisted of three year 10 students (Manon, Rhys and Steffan) and the judges were fulsome in their praise of all students. It is also pleasing to announce that Manon won an individual prize for best speaker and Steffan was declared the best chairperson. Thanks also to Mr Shaw for coaching the team. We wish them every success in the next round!
