Pupils from year 7 (7Mrs Morgan) were given the exciting opportunity to visit Cardiff’s Millennium Centre and the “Wondercrump” exhibition and workshop showcasing the weird and wonderful works of Roald Dahl. As part of the author’s centenary celebrations, pupils went on a whistle-stop tour of Roald Dahl’s life and imagination and took part in a workshop where they created poems using Dahlesque vocabulary. All pupils thoroughly enjoyed the excursion. Thanks also to Mrs Lisa Davies, Miss Catherine Thomas and Mr Duncan Rowe for accompanying our students.
