It was a pleasure to welcome Jane Davidson who recently visited us to present the Morgan Parry Foundation prize to a crew from Year 8. The task set by the Organisation this year was to create a short film about the subject “The Wales We Want”. Ffion Tomos, Anwen Morgan, Jack Thomas and Toby Porter created a film that showed their hopes and dreams for Wales in the future – by talking about a generation that protects the environment, lives a healthy life, lends a hand to help others, continues to protect our culture and our nation, and achieves the aim of a million Welsh speakers by 2050. Year 8 came together to enjoy watching the video and to congratulate the four. Congratulations to them for creating a film that is so creative and comprehensive.
