On Friday, May 26th a group of culture-hungry year 9 students visited the Hay Festival of Literature and Arts in Powys. Highlights included an audience with acclaimed teen-fiction writer Ali Sparkes and listening to the entertaining tales of writers Daniel Morden and Phil Earle. Students also enjoyed the chance to question these authors on their craft and revelled in the opportunity to sample some delicious festival food. An enjoyable day for all involved!
