This term employers and Careers Wales came into Ysgol Gyfun Gwyr and Ysgol Gyfun Bryntawe for two days, to undertake mock interviews with Year11. This enabled young people to practice for any job interviews that they have in the future.
6th form interviews
The school Careers Wales adviser undertook mock interviews with those in the 6th form not going onto university to help prepare them for the world of work.
Transition roadshow for those with additional needs
Those in the Ty from Ysgol Gyfun Gwyr visited a transition roadshow with their school Careers Wales adviser and the staff from the Ty. The young people were able to meet and talk to organisations that can help them with their next steps.
Careers Guidance Interviews with Year 11, 12 and 13
The school based Careers Wales Adviser has begun seeing Year 11,12 and 13 to help them plan their next steps.
