Congratulations to pupils from year 8 and 9 who have reached the final round of the ESU’s Performing Shakespeare competition this year. Ashton Williams, Ffion Tomos, Anwen Morgan (year 9) and Siôn Thomas (year 8) competed against pupils from other schools across Wales in the Welsh final on Friday 9th of February in Cardiff. All four will be travelling to the London final in March and performing on stage at the Wyndham’s Theatre in the West End. Ffion and Anwen will be performing a scene from the comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” while Ashton and Siôn take on “Hamlet.” This is the second time that Ashton has reached the final, and the first for the rest of the group. We wish them all good luck for the final!
