Many thanks to some of our talented year 8 pupils for their commitment and dedication in producing a film based on the life and works of Swansea’s most famous literary son, Dylan Thomas. All of our year 8 pupils have been busy getting to grips with the poetry of Dylan Thomas, which has included excursions to the Dylan Thomas Centre (thanks to Jo Furber) and the Birthplace in the Uplands (again huge thanks to Geoff Haden). The English department would like to thank all of those who supported the project, particularly Professor Daniel Williams from Swansea University, local author Alun Gibbard and Dylan Thomas’ granddaughter, Hannah Ellis. We were privileged to premiere the film at the Taliesin Theatre on Dylan Thomas day. Please enjoy the finished production!
