Everyone at the school are very saddened at the loss of one of our former members of staff, Ms Siwan Ellis. She was one of the original staff when the school opened in 2003 and was the Head of the English department until she left in 2013. She was highly respected by all the staff who worked with her and was very popular with all of the pupils she taught. The pupils were central to everything Siwan did, she was an excellent teacher that inspired our pupils to learn.

The sympathy of all at Bryn Tawe are with Siwan’s family at this very sad time.
