Congratulations to the school’s Welsh Public Speaking team for winning the National Rotary Competition in the Final in Cardiff Bay. The theme was “There are better days coming to Wales”. Caitlyn White was the Chair and won second prize for best chair of the competition. Steffan Leonard was the bidder and was awarded the second prize for the best bidder of the competition, and Nansi Eccott was the opponent when she won the third prize for the best opponent. Congratulations to the team for winning this competition for the first time in school history! It was good to celebrate with an A-level trip to Aberystwyth and to take pictures with the shield on the Prom in Aberystwyth and at the “Remember Dryweryn” memorial in Llanrhystud.
