UPDATE ON SCHOOL CLOSURES AND DISTANCE LEARNING

Important message for pupils and parents / guardians:

You may now be aware of the announcement by the Education Minister this morning that schools will remain closed to pupils until at least the 29th January, or until the February half term if the levels of the spread of the virus do not reduce sufficiently. See message below:

As a result, Qualifications Wales have also announced that they will cancel the internal assessment window planned to take place between 22nd February and 23rd April. See their website for the message:

We will continue to offer emergency childcare provision (link here) and also to support some pupils in the school. Our focus will be to continue learning, by providing online lessons and online work and supporting the wellbeing of our pupils. I will be sharing more information with you in due course, but if you have any questions, or concerns, please contact us to discuss or e-mail: SwyddfaBrynTawe5@hwbcymru.net
