Congratulations to Cameron Jenkins for coming second and Elisha Davies for coming third in this year’s Dafydd Rowlands Memorial Prize competition! We congratulate Anest Williams of Ysgol Gwyr who was successful this year. Many thanks to Mr John Evans for his comprehensive and complimentary criticism. Our thanks also go to the committee for providing the opportunity again this year for our young people and for organizing a wonderful virtual awards ceremony.

A group of year 10 prepared a video on the theme ‘Peace’ for the Welsh Center for International Affairs competition https://youtu.be/UvNgAd1lpL0, and we also submitted our video ‘Message of Peace and Goodwill’ to another category. In one video, our pupils talked about their desire for a world where everyone shows love, respects one another, where there is equal opportunity for all and peace all over the world. We received three first prizes for our videos and it was wonderful to join in a virtual awards ceremony from Llangollen.
