ON-SITE TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS:

Thank you very much for the co-operation of almost all parents in ensuring that our drop-off and pick up arrangements from school are safe. I would like to draw your attention once again to the letter shared on Monday 11.09.23 outlining these arrangements in full: Pupil transport to and from school 23-24

I would like to draw the attention of a small number of parents to two key points of the arrangements below, so that we can work together in the interests of the safety of all pupils:

1. We ask parents/guardians and all site-users to adhere to the expected speed limit of no more than 10mph on the school site (including the main drive to the school off Heol Gwyrosydd) at all times.
2. We ask that all parents / relatives refrain from parking on the main drive to the school, before the barrier. Traffic movement (cars moving reversing and turning) in this area presents a higher risk to the safety of our pupils as many cross the drive as they walk home.

Thank you once again for the co-operation of all parents as we work together to ensure the safety of all pupils when arriving at and leaving school.

 

NASUWT STRIKE – Tuesday 19.09.23 and Wednesday Day 20.09.23:

I would like to inform you that there will be no disruption to the normal operation of the school on the above dates when the NASUWT union intend to carry out industrial action. The school will be open to all pupils as normal.
