County Netball under 14

Sarah Llewellyn and Ameca Jones have been chosen once again, to represent the county Netball team for the under 14’s. Congratulations girls and good luck with the training and games!

Hockey Results

Many of the girls have joined the schools Hockey clubs this term, and had great fun in the after school training and games. Here are the results:

Under 14’s – Lost 1-0 against Bishop Vaughan, and won 1-0 against Cefn Hengoed.

Under 16’s – Lost 1-0 against Bishop Vaughan, in a highly competitive and exciting game.

Netball Results

Under 18 – A win against Olchfa of 27 goals to 17. They lost against Ystalyfera in a very close game, with the score of 15 goals to 16, in the last minute.

Year 11 – A win against Bishopston of 14 goals to 7

Year 10 – They Lost against Bishopston of 17 goals to 18, but a win against Ystalyfera of 18 goals to 4.

Year 9 – A win against Pontarddulais of 9 goals to 2.

Year 8 – A win against Pontarddulais of 7 goals to 2.

Football results

Year 11 – A win against Daniel James of 6 goals to 5.

Year 10 – A win against Cefn Hengoed, 2-1. They lost against Olchfa 4-0, in the Welsh Cup.

Year 8 – They lost against Cefn Hengoed, 3-2.

Year 7 – They lost against Pentrehafod, 2-1 in the Welsh Cup.

Ospreys Rugby

Rhys Williams and David Skone, both of year 11, have been chosen for the Ospreys rugby team. The train and play weekly with the team. Good Luck boys!

Rugby results

1st Team – The 1st team won their first game of the season against Morriston/Bishop Vaughan, with the score of 19-15. Congratulations to the boys – this is the first game they’ve won out of 4. Keep it up boys!

Year 10, 7 a side – The team did extremely well in Bishop Vaughan’s 7 a side tournament. The team got through to the Plate semi final. They lost to Morriston in the final round.

Year 9 – The year 9 rugby team competed in the Swansea Schools rugby competition earlier in the term. The team lost 5-0 against Bishopgore in the final round. Congratulations on your success boys!
